HRTF and binaural monitoring
This presentation describes the approaches for providing human HRTFs for binauralization, from traditional acoustic measurements to modern computational approaches like machine learning models, 3D scanning and numerical modeling. We discuss the personalization potential of the methods and the impacts of using non-personal HRTF or HRTF with is not personally accurate. Attendees will gain insights into how these techniques impact spatial audio quality and realism.
